Twin Baby Shower - Invites - Decor - Printables

Baby Showers are always exciting events and I had so much fun putting the invitations and decor for this shower together. I had a great inspirational palette to work off of from the mom-to-be.  From the fabrics in the pieced quilt she was putting together to the room decor, there were so many great colors and themes to work with. I'd call it Country Vintage Chic.

The invitations were inspired by old tags and tea packets.  The tag on the end of the string was a great location to place the gift registry information.

By printing on plain white envelope,s that I bought in bulk from the paper store, I was able to coordinate them with the invitations and avoid having to hand write out the addresses.

I wanted to keep the food light and simple. I cut up apples as tossed them in fresh fruit preserve (or you could use lemon juice). The apples and strawberries were served with a cream cheese fruit dip.  There were also bagels with flavored cream cheese, mini muffins and chocolate (you can't leave out chocolate)!

I love the drink dispenser I found at Walmart of all places. The design is great because the metal stand allows you to have the spout positioned over the counter instead of over the end of the counter,  preventing sticky spills on the floor.

To solve the dilemma of drinking off the rim of a canning jar, I found these darling paper straws at Target and solved the problem.

The muffin stand is from Pampered Chef years ago, but I love how it brings height to the table and you can fit so much more food together.

The platter stand with the bagels from made from a plate and a candle stick bought at IKEA and adhered together with white Gorilla Glue.
