Valentines Boxes - Boys and Girls - Monster Truck - Dog
I love working on projects with my kids and Valentines is the perfect time to do it. Both my littles needed boxes for their class exchanges this year and I had to restrain myself from completely taking over (maybe you are thinking I did...) but anyways I wanted them to be able to put their mark on their boxes this year while elevating them a notch. ;)
For my daughter I had her draw out a picture of a dog and it just so happens that it was nice and boxy so it was super easy (relatively speaking) to convert into a 3-d Perry the Platypus style box.
Since hers went so quickly I decided to do something similar for her brother's box. I drew the car from the side view onto foam core, cut it out and then traced it onto another piece of foam core and then connected them with varying sizes of rectangles. I have attached an art file with all the pieces you need. The best part about this was custom colored to the little man's tastes.
